Section 175.3, subsection 7, Code 1995, 1 6 is amended to read as follows: 1 7 7. The appointed members shall elect a chairperson 1 8 and vice chairperson annually, and other officers as 1 9 they determine, but the. The executive director, 1 10 appointed pursuant to section 175.7, shall serve as 1 11 secretary to the authority. 1 12 Sec. . Section 175.7, subsection 1, Code 1995, 1 13 is amended to read as follows: 1 14 1. Thesecretary of agricultureauthority shall 1 15 appoint an executive directorof the authority, who 1 16 shall serve at the pleasure of thesecretary1 17 authority.
