Amendment Text

PAG LIN
  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-4145, to Senate amendment,
  1  2 H-4033, to House File 519, as amended, passed, and
  1  3 reprinted, by the House, as follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 8, by striking lines 20 through 26 and
  1  5 inserting the following:
  1  6    "   .  A person who brings a losing cause of action
  1  7 against a person for whom the rebuttable presumption
  1  8 arising under this section is not rebutted shall be
  1  9 liable to the person for all costs and expenses
  1 10 incurred in the defense of the action.  The costs
  1 11 shall include but are not limited to reasonable
  1 12 attorney fees, court costs, travel expenses, and other
  1 13 reasonable expenses incurred in the defense."
  1 14    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
