House Amendment 4001

  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-3953, to Senate File 150, as
  1  2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 5, by inserting after line 38 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Sec.    .  Section 598.41, Code 1995, is amended
  1  7 by adding the following new subsection:
  1  8    NEW SUBSECTION.  7.  If an application for
  1  9 modification of a decree or a petition for
  1 10 modification of an order is filed, based upon
  1 11 differences between the parents regarding the custody
  1 12 arrangement established under the decree or order, the
  1 13 court may require the parents to participate in
  1 14 mediation to attempt to resolve the differences
  1 15 between the parents."
  1 16    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
