1 1 Amend Senate File 201 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 16 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. . Section 422.7, Code 1995, is amended by
1 5 adding the following new subsection:
1 6 NEW SUBSECTION. 33. Subtract the amount of the
1 7 employer social security credit allowable for the tax
1 8 year under section 45B of the Internal Revenue Code to
1 9 the extent that the credit increases federal adjusted
1 10 gross income."
1 11 #2. Page 2, by inserting after line 20 the
1 12 following:
1 13 "Sec. . Section 422.35, Code 1995, is amended
1 14 by adding the following new subsection:
1 15 NEW SUBSECTION. 17. Subtract the amount of the
1 16 employer social security credit allowable for the tax
1 17 year under section 45B of the Internal Revenue Code to
1 18 the extent that the credit increases federal adjusted
1 19 gross income."
1 20 #3. Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
1 21 word "Code" the following: ", allowing a deduction
1 22 for the employer social security credit,".
