PAG LIN 1 1 Amend Senate File 256, as passed by the Senate, as 1 2 follows: 1 3 #1. Page 1, line 9, by inserting after the word 1 4 "provisions." the following: "The rules shall 1 5 establish specifications for notification signs and 1 6 procedures for placing and maintaining those signs in 1 7 urban areas. A sign must be posted by a commercial or 1 8 public applicator immediately following the exterior 1 9 application of pesticides on property in order to 1 10 alert occupants of adjoining property, and shall not 1 11 be removed for twenty-four hours following 1 12 application. The sign must be posted in a clear and 1 13 visible location on the property near the area of the 1 14 application. The sign shall be of reusable 1 15 construction and contain permanent lettering. The 1 16 color of the sign shall be white with red lettering. 1 17 The sign shall be at least eleven inches by twenty- 1 18 eight inches in size, and contain the following 1 19 warning in capital letters at least four inches high: 1 20 WARNING 1 21 CHEMICALS APPLIED TO THIS PROPERTY 1 22 Below the warning, the following statement shall be 1 23 set forth in print easily readable from a distance: 1 24 "Do not remove this sign for twenty-four hours".
