  1  1    Amend Senate File 256, as passed by the Senate, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 21 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec.    .  Section 206.34, subsection 1, paragraph
  1  6 a, Code 1995, is amended to read as follows:
  1  7    a.  "Local governmental entity" means any political
  1  8 subdivision, or any state authority which is not the
  1  9 general assembly or under the direction of a principal
  1 10 central department as enumerated in section 7E.5,
  1 11 including a city as defined in section 362.2, a county
  1 12 as provided in chapter 331, or any special purpose
  1 13 district.  However, "local governmental entity" does
  1 14 not include a city as defined in section 362.2."
  1 15    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
