  1  1    Amend Senate File 462, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 8, by inserting after line 21 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "   .  The department of human services shall
  1  6 consult with the department of inspections and
  1  7 appeals, the Iowa state association of counties, and
  1  8 the Iowa association of rehabilitation and residential
  1  9 facilities in adopting administrative rules
  1 10 identifying optimum staffing ratios for intermediate
  1 11 care facilities for the mentally retarded (ICFMR).
  1 12 The administrative rules shall be implemented on or
  1 13 before January 1, 1996."
  1 14    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
