  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-3610, to House File 518 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 7, by striking lines 47 and 48.
  1  4    #2.  Page 9, by inserting after line 7 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Sec.    .  NEW SECTION.  476.30_  ADDITIONAL PRICE
  1  7 REGULATION PLAN PROVISIONS.
  1  8    In addition to the provisions required in section
  1  9 476.30B to be included in a plan of price regulation,
  1 10 the plan shall include provisions for the following:
  1 11    1.  Reflecting in rates any changes due to changes
  1 12 in the average cost of the local exchange carrier
  1 13 resulting from the sale of an exchange in this state.
  1 14    2.  Encouraging modernization of the local exchange
  1 15 carrier's telecommunications infrastructure.  This
  1 16 provision shall include a requirement that the local
  1 17 exchange carrier develop and file with the board an
  1 18 increased modernization plan."
  1 19    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
