  1  1    Amend House File 552 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 23, line 26, by inserting after the word
  1  3 "casualty," the following:  "exports by eligible
  1  4 purchasers,".
  1  5    #2.  Page 26, by striking lines 25 and 26 and
  1  6 inserting the following:  "calendar quarter.  A claim
  1  7 for refund may be filed anytime within the calendar
  1  8 year that the two hundred fifty dollar minimum has
  1  9 been met.  If the two".
  1 10    #3.  Page 36, line 28, by striking the word
  1 11 "follows:" and inserting the following:  "provided in
  1 12 this subsection.  However, the owner or operator of
  1 13 the importing vehicle shall not be guilty of violating
  1 14 this subsection if it is shown by the owner or
  1 15 operator that the owner or operator reasonably did not
  1 16 know or reasonably should not have known of the
  1 17 illegal importation."
