1 2 #1. Page 3, line 33, by inserting after the word
1 3 "positions" the following: ", provided that a
1 4 business which has its headquarters in another country
1 5 shall, as a condition of accepting assistance, agree
1 6 to treat its Iowa workforce in a manner which meets at
1 7 least the minimum standards by which the business
1 8 treats its workforce in the country in which it is
1 9 headquartered. For purposes of this paragraph, a
1 10 business which is owned or controlled by a business
1 11 which is headquartered in another country is
1 12 considered to also have its headquarters in that
1 13 country."
