  1  1    Amend House File 530 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 33 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. 100.  There is appropriated from the general
  1  5 fund of the state to the department of elder affairs
  1  6 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1994, and ending
  1  7 June 30, 1995, the following amount, to be used for
  1  8 the purpose designated:
  1  9    For expansion of the case management program:  
  1 10 .................................................. $    229,863
  1 11    Notwithstanding section 8.33, the department may
  1 12 retain $229,863 which otherwise would revert and may
  1 13 carry over this amount to the fiscal year beginning
  1 14 July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1996."
  1 15    #2.  Page 2, by inserting before line 34 the
  1 16 following:
  1 17    "The appropriation in this section is contingent
  1 18 upon actual revenues of the general fund for the
  1 19 fiscal year beginning July 1, 1994, and ending June
  1 20 30, 1995, exceeding $4,090,500,000 by at least
  1 21 $229,863."
  1 22    #3.  Page 24, by inserting after line 8 the
  1 23 following:
  1 24    "Sec.    .  EFFECTIVE DATE.  Section 100 of this
  1 25 Act which relates to the appropriation of funds to
  1 26 address the expansion of the case management program
  1 27 in the department of elder affairs, being deemed of
  1 28 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment."
  1 29    #4.  Title page, line 6, by inserting after the
  1 30 word "abuse" the following:  ", and providing an
  1 31 effective date".
