  1  1    Amend House File 530 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 9, by inserting after line 22 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "(  )  If during the 1995-1996 fiscal year, the
  1  5 federal government incorporates the special
  1  6 supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and
  1  7 children into a block grant, the department of human
  1  8 services, Iowa department of public health, or any
  1  9 other state agency which administers the block grant
  1 10 shall require a competitive bid process for infant
  1 11 formula purchased by or for families under the block
  1 12 grant."
  1 13    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
