  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 17 the fol-
  1  3 lowing:  "The ten-year statute of repose shall not
  1  4 apply if a manufacturer knew, or should have known,
  1  5 that the product it placed into the stream of commerce
  1  6 was defective at any time prior to its sale, lease
  1  7 bailment, or installation for use or consumption."
