  1  1    Amend House File 288 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 4, by inserting after line 4 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  Section 808A.2, subsection 1, paragraph
  1  5 c, Code 1995, is amended to read as follows:
  1  6    c.  If the search is of an individual student, or
  1  7 an individual student's protected student area, the
  1  8 suspicion and belief required by paragraphs "a" and
  1  9 "b" is particular to the student to be searched."
  1 10    #2.  Title page, line 5, by inserting after the
  1 11 word "lockers," the following:  "searches of protected
  1 12 student areas,".
  1 13    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
