  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-3323, to House File 258 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 3 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    ""Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  2.40A  GENERAL ASSEMBLY
  1  6 &endash; DRUG TESTING.
  1  7    On the first session day during every week the
  1  8 general assembly is in session, the chief clerk of the
  1  9 house and the secretary of the senate shall each
  1 10 select, by random drawing, the names of ten members of
  1 11 their respective chambers for purposes of submission
  1 12 to a drug test.  The members selected shall submit to
  1 13 a drug test conducted pursuant to the requirements of
  1 14 section 730.5, subsection 3, paragraphs "c" and "d".
  1 15 The results of the drug test shall be a public
  1 16 record."
  1 17    #2.  Page 3, by inserting after line 5 the
  1 18 following:
  1 19    "#   .  Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
  1 20 word "employees" the following:  ", public
  1 21 officials,"."
  1 22    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
