  1  1    Amend House File 247 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 25, by striking lines 22 through 25 and
  1  3 inserting the following:
  1  4    "Sec.    .  NEW SECTION.  521.16  APPLICABILITY OF
  1  5 CHAPTER.
  1  6    Chapter 521A is applicable to a merger or
  1  7 consolidation made pursuant to this chapter, and the
  1  8 provisions of chapter 521A and this chapter shall
  1  9 apply exclusively with respect to such merger or
  1 10 consolidation."
  1 11    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
