1 2 #1. Page 3, by inserting after line 25 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. . Refunds of taxes, interests, or
1 5 penalties which arise from claims resulting from the
1 6 enactment of the amendments to section 422.42, section
1 7 422.42, subsection 11, section 422.45, subsection 39,
1 8 and section 422.47, subsection 4, of this Act, for
1 9 sales and rentals occurring between July 1, 1985, and
1 10 June 30, 1995, shall be limited to twenty-five
1 11 thousand dollars in the aggregate and shall not be
1 12 allowed unless refund claims are filed prior to
1 13 October 1, 1995, notwithstanding any other provision
1 14 of law. If the amount of claims totals more than
1 15 twenty-five thousand dollars in the aggregate, the
1 16 department of revenue and finance shall prorate the
1 17 twenty-five thousand dollars among all claimants in
1 18 relation to the amounts of the claimants' valid
1 19 claims.
1 20 Sec. . This Act, being deemed of immediate
1 21 importance, takes effect upon enactment and applies
1 22 retroactively to July 1, 1985, for sales and rentals
1 23 made on or after that date."
1 24 #2. Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
1 25 word "tax" the following: ", and including
1 26 retroactive applicability date and effective date
1 27 provisions".
