  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-3100, to House File 126, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 4 through 10 and
  1  4 inserting the following:
  1  5    "#   .  Page 1, line 19, by inserting after the
  1  6 word "franchise." the following:  "A right of first
  1  7 refusal contained in a franchise agreement shall not
  1  8 be exercised by the franchisor in the event of the
  1  9 devise of the franchise to, or receipt of the
  1 10 franchise as a distributee from the estate of an
  1 11 intestate franchisee by, or the purchase of the
  1 12 franchise by, the qualifying surviving spouse or the
  1 13 qualifying heirs of the franchisee.""
  1 14    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
