FINANCE OFFICE
The Finance Office is responsible for the issuing of warrants for payroll,
expense of office and travel to members, and for all House expenses. The
Finance Officer is also responsible for maintaining individual payroll records,
information about salary and benefits options and tax forms. Each member of the
House receives a packet of forms requesting data necessary for payroll
processing. These forms require prompt and complete attention.
The House of Representatives utilizes the state centralized payroll system.
Members are paid biweekly on Friday. (For more information on salaries, please
refer to Part II of this Handbook, "General Information about the General
Assembly."
