22the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly.
23This bill establishes a pilot program to collect fees from
24nonresidents at lake Manawa state park.
25Current law prohibits the department of natural resources

32to the park through one year after the date of purchase.
33A nonresident who purchases an annual pass may purchase a
34second annual pass to use for a different vehicle for $15.
35The bill allows the department to decide whether to charge
-1-1separate nonresident and resident fees for camping and shelter
2reservations and for beach access. The bill requires the
3department to determine an effective method of collecting fees.
4The pilot program is repealed on July 1, 2022.
