House Resolution 1 - Introduced
An Act 1for the selection and appointment of
2secretaries and pages.
3BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, That
4each member of the House of Representatives shall be
5entitled to select and appoint a secretary, and such
6secretary may be called upon to aid in the discharge of
7the clerical work of the House of Representatives. The
8Speaker and Chief Clerk shall appoint their secretaries
9and pages to serve for the session, and the Chief Clerk
10is hereby authorized to employ such additional clerical
11assistance as her duties may require.
