Entered military service in 1944, served with U.S. Army Paratroopers in U.S. and Europe. At present is farming 280 acres, and secretary-treasurer Garwin Seed Co., Inc. Married Isadora Walls, 1947. One daughter, Sara Jo. Member Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, American Legion, the Forty and Eight, Lions Club, Farm Bureau, and Evangelical United Brethren church. Serving third term.

Member Masonic lodge, American Legion, Garwin Commercial club, Farm Bureau and Evangelical United Brethren church.
