St. Charles Adair and Madison Counties Democrat. Born March 9, 1911 on a farm near Clearfield, Iowa, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Seibert. Graduated Clearfield High School 1929. Married Lois Swan of Clearfield 1938. Three children: Mrs. Dale Beaman of St. Charles, Wally, in U. S. Army and Bill, 12, at home. Moved to Madison County and farmed continuously there with the exception of seven years spent in Warren County. Owns and operates 240 acre stock and grain farm. Member of Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, Lion's Club and Farm Bureau. Member of St. Charles Methodist Church, having served as chairman of the official board and in other capacities. Former member school board, Madison County Extension Council, Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation committee; active in all community affairs. Serving first term.
