RICHARD QUINTON Born in 1801 in Kentucky. He moved west and served in the United States Army during the Black Hawk War. He represented Keokuk County in the House of Representatives of the Fourth Legislative Assembly of the Iowa Territory from 1841 to 1842. He is recorded as living with his wife, Margaret Morgan, in Mahaska, Iowa in 1850, and Bridgeport, Nevada, California in 1860, and as a widower in Chico, Butte, California in 1880.
