S.F. 140 Section 1. Section 53.11, subsection 1, paragraph c, Code 1 2025, is amended by adding the following new subparagraph: 2 NEW SUBPARAGRAPH . (5) The site requested is on school 3 property and a question to approve a bond, an instructional 4 support program, an educational improvement program, a physical 5 plant and equipment levy, or public education and recreation 6 levy issued by any school appears on the ballot to be voted at 7 that election. 8 Sec. 2. Section 53.11, subsection 6, Code 2025, is amended 9 to read as follows: 10 6. The commissioner shall remove or obscure from the 11 view of voters any published material displaying the name of 12 a candidate or elected official and any published material 13 relating to a public measure, other than a ballot or sample 14 ballot or envelope. 15 -1- SF 140 (3) 91 ss/ns/mb 1/ 1
