H.F. 2337 Section 1. Section 714.8, Code 2026, is amended by adding 1 the following new subsection: 2 NEW SUBSECTION . 6A. For the purpose of obtaining employment 3 or other personal gain, knowingly and with intent falsely 4 represents oneself as possessing an academic degree or academic 5 credentials. 6 Sec. 2. Section 714.13, subsection 1, Code 2026, is amended 7 to read as follows: 8 1. Fraudulent practice in the fifth degree is a any of the 9 following: 10 a. A fraudulent practice where for which the amount of money 11 or value of property or services involved does not exceed three 12 hundred dollars. 13 b.
