based
on

a

The
program
integrates
knowledge
and
theory
learned

in
the
classroom
or
other
school-approved
setting
with

practical

skills
and

proficiencies
in
a
professional
work
setting.

2.
A
business
that
accepts
a
secondary
student
in
a
24
work-based
learning
program
shall
not
be
subject
to
civil
25
liability
for
any
claim
for
bodily
injury
to
the
student
or
26
sickness
or
death
by
accident
of
the
student
arising
from
27
the
student’s
driving
to
or
from
the
business
or
worksite
to
28
participate
in
the
work-based
learning
program
unless
the
29
student
is
acting
within
the
course
and
scope
of
the
student’s
30
employment
at
the
direction
of
the
business.

3.
Any
claim
for
bodily
injury
to
the
student
or
sickness

death

of
the
student
arising
from
the

to
study
and
make
recommendations

on

to
minor

licensing

a
work
driving
privilege
to

current
special

license.

traditional

parent-taught
driver’s
