H.F. 2426 Section 1. Section 137C.12, Code 2024, is amended to read 1 as follows: 2 137C.12 Inspection upon complaint. 3 Upon receipt of a verified complaint signed by a guest 4 of a hotel and stating facts indicating the place is in an 5 insanitary condition, the regulatory authority shall conduct 6 an inspection. The inspector may enter the hotel at any 7 reasonable hour to make the inspection. The management shall 8 afford free access to every part of the premises and render all 9 aid and assistance necessary to enable the inspector to make a 10 thorough and complete inspection. 11 Sec. 2.
