H.F. 2421 Section 1. Section 272.31, subsection 1, Code 2016, is 1 amended by adding the following new paragraph: 2 NEW PARAGRAPH . 0e. Successful completion of training in 3 the areas of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, automated external 4 defibrillator use, and heat injury treatment. 5 Sec. 2. APPLICABILITY PROVISIONS. A person who possesses a 6 valid coaching authorization issued by the board of educational 7 examiners prior to July 1, 2016, shall have until July 1, 2017, 8 to meet the requirements of this Act. 9 -1- HF 2421 (3) 86 kh/rj/md 1/ 1
