H.F. 545 Section 1. Section 35A.13, subsection 6, Code 2013, is 1 amended by adding the following new paragraph: 2 NEW PARAGRAPH . m. Expenses related to initial screening for 3 any military service-connected traumatic brain injury sustained 4 while on federal active duty, state active duty, or national 5 guard duty, as defined in section 29A.1, or sustained while on 6 federal reserve duty pursuant to orders issued under Tit. 10 7 of the United States Code for which payment or reimbursement 8 is not otherwise available through any other federal or 9 state program or, if applicable, through a veteran’s private 10 insurance or managed care organization. 11 -1- HF 545 (3) 85 aw/sc/md 1/ 1
