  2    of evidence filed with a trial information or indictment and
  3    providing an effective date.

  1  1    Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  813.3A INDICTMENT == MINUTES OF
  1  2 EVIDENCE.
  1  3    A minute of evidence shall consist of a notice in writing
  1  4 stating the name and occupation of the witness upon whose
  1  5 testimony the indictment is found, a full and fair statement
  1  6 of the witness's testimony before the grand jury, and a full
  1  7 and fair statement of additional expected testimony at trial.
  1  8 The minute shall also contain the witness's residential
  1  9 address, employment address, or address at which the witness
  1 10 may be contacted.
  1 11    Sec. 2.  NEW SECTION.  813.3B  TRIAL INFORMATION == WITNESS
  1 12 NAMES AND MINUTES.
  1 13    The prosecuting attorney shall, at the time of filing an
  1 14 information, also file the minutes of evidence of the
  1 15 witnesses which shall consist of a notice in writing stating
  1 16 the name and occupation of each witness upon whose expected
  1 17 testimony the information is based and a full and fair
  1 18 statement of the witness's expected testimony.  The minutes
  1 19 shall also contain the witness's residential address,
  1 20 employment address, or address at which the witness may be
  1 21 contacted.
  1 22    Sec. 3.  EFFECTIVE DATE.  This Act, being deemed of
  1 23 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment.
