commits
a
class
“C”
felony
when
the
person,

injure

fear
or
anger
in
another

shoots,
throws,
launches,
or
discharges
a
dangerous
weapon
at,

into,
or
in
a
building,
vehicle,
airplane,
railroad
engine,

railroad
car,
or
boat,
occupied
by
another
person,
or
within
an

assembly
of
people,
and
thereby
places
the
occupants
or
people
9
in
reasonable
apprehension
of
serious
injury
or
threatens
to

commit
such
an
act
under
circumstances
raising
a
reasonable

expectation
that
the
threat
will
be
carried
out.

removes
language
referring
to
discharging
a

weapon
within
an
assembly
of
people,
and
thereby

the
occupants
or
people
in
reasonable
apprehension
of

serious
injury
from
the
bill.

A
violation
of
the
bill
is
either
a
class
“C”
or
class
“D”

felony
depending
on
the
circumstances.
A
class
“C”
felony
is

punishable
by
confinement
for
no
more
than
10
years
and
a
fine

of
at
least
$1,370
but
not
more
than
$13,660.
A
class
“D”
33
felony
is
punishable
by
confinement
for
no
more
than
five
years

and
a
