Section 542B.14, subsection 1, paragraph b, 1 subparagraph (4), Code 2025, is amended to read as follows: 2 (4) Successfully passing examinations designed to determine 3 the proficiency and qualifications to engage in the practice of 4 land surveying , which shall include an examination on subjects 5 specific to the practice of land surveying in this state . 6 EXPLANATION 7 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 8 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 9 This bill requires an applicant for licensure as a 10 professional land surveyor to complete an examination on 11 subjects specific to the practice of land surveying in this 12 state prior to receiving a professional land surveying license. 13 -1- LSB 2514XC (1) 91 ss/ko 1/ 1
