is

to

as
follows:

rules

colleges

the

fiscal

the

visually
impaired

program
and

the

and

set
the
employee
benefits
for
such
employees.

bill
relates
to
education,
including
by
modifying

provisions
related
to

college

reporting
requirements
and
employees
of
the

Iowa

services
for
the
blind
and
visually
impaired

program
or
the
Iowa
school
for
the
deaf.

REPORTING
REQUIREMENTS.
Current
law
requires
20
the
state
board
of
education
to
adopt
rules
directing
the
21
community
colleges
to
submit
certain
specified
data
from
the
22
most
recent
fiscal
year
to
the
community
colleges
bureau
using
23
criteria
determined
by
the
community
colleges
bureau.
The
24
bill
modifies
these
provisions
to
instead
require
the
data
to
25
be
submitted
directly
to
DE.
The
bill
makes
several
other
26
modifications
related
to
data
submitted
by
the
community
27
colleges
to
DE,
and
related
to
data
submitted
by
DE
to
the
28
state
board
and
the
general
assembly,
including
modifications
29
related
to
the
information
to
be
included
in
the
annual
30
condition
of
community
colleges
report.
