in

amended
as
follows:

A
“senate
resolution”
is
a
resolution
acted
upon

only
by
the
senate
which
relates
to
an
accomplishment

of
national
or
international
status;
the
dedication

of
a
day
by
a
statewide
or
national
group;
the
one

hundredth,
one
hundred
twenty-fifth,
or
one
hundred
13
fiftieth
,
two
hundredth,
or
two
hundred
fiftieth
14
anniversary
of
a
local
any
government
or
organization;
15
the
recognition
of
state
ties
to
other
governments;
the
16
retirement
of
a
senator
or
long-time
senate
employee;
17
or
to
rules
and
administrative
matters,
including
the
18
appointment
of
special
committees,
within
the
senate.
19
A
senate
resolution
requires
the
affirmative
vote
of
20
a
majority
of
the
senators
present
and
voting,
unless
21
otherwise
required
in
these
rules.
A
senate
resolution

shall
be
filed
with
the
secretary
of
the
senate.
A

senate
resolution
shall
be
printed
in
the
bound
journal

after
its
adoption
and
in
the
daily
journal
upon

written
request
to
the
secretary
of
the
senate
by

sponsor

the
