S.F. 2333 Section 1. NEW SECTION . 355.15 Land surveyors. 1 A county shall not impose on a land surveyor to survey land 2 in the county any requirements in addition to those required 3 for licensure pursuant to chapter 542B, including any bonds, 4 additional fees, or additional permits. 5 EXPLANATION 6 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 7 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 8 Code chapter 542B regulates the licensure of land surveyors 9 by the engineering and land surveying examining board. 10 This bill prohibits a county from imposing on a land surveyor 11 to survey land in the county any requirements in addition to 12 those required for licensure, including any bonds, additional 13 fees, or additional permits. 14 -1- LSB 6598XS (2) 91 ms/js 1/ 1
