S.F. 2323 Section 1. Section 80A.4, subsection 1, paragraph c, Code 1 2026, is amended to read as follows: 2 c. Has never not been convicted of a felony or aggravated 3 misdemeanor within the ten years preceding the application . 4 EXPLANATION 5 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 6 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 7 This bill relates to licensing requirements of private 8 investigative agencies and security agents. 9 The bill provides that a license or renewal will not be 10 issued unless the applicant has not been convicted of a felony 11 or aggravated misdemeanor within the ten years preceding the 12 application.
