shall
allow

students
enrolled
in
grade
eight
who
meet
academic
standards

the
school
district
or
nonpublic
school
to

participate
in
any
extracurricular
interscholastic
athletic

contest
or
competition
that
is
provided
by
the
school
district
23
or
nonpublic
school
to
students
who
are
enrolled
in
grades
nine
24
through
twelve.

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
relates
to
participation
in
high
school

interscholastic
athletic
contests
or

by
students
enrolled
in

eight.
The
bill

requires
school
districts,
nonpublic
schools,
charter
schools,

and
innovation
zone
schools
to
allow
students
enrolled
in

grade
eight
who
meet
academic
standards
established
by
the

to
participate
in
any
extracurricular
interscholastic
