subsection
1,

is
amended
to
read
as
follows:

The

the

adding
the

The
right
to
control
final
disposition

of
a
decedent’s
remains
or
to
make
arrangements
for
the

after
a
decedent’s
death
shall
not
vest
in
or
devolve

upon
a
person
who
is
prohibited
from
acting
as
a
designee

pursuant
to
section
144C.8.

This
bill
relates
to
the
final
disposition
of
human
remains.

The
bill
excludes
from
eligibility
to
control
the
final

disposition
of
a
decedent’s
remains
or
to
make
arrangements
21
for
the
ceremony
after
a
decedent’s
death
a
person
who
would
22
be
ineligible
to
serve
as
a
designee
under
a
declaration
made
23
by
a
decedent.
