and
thereby

the

removes
from
the
bill
language
referring
to
the

shooting,

launching,
or
discharging
of
a
dangerous

weapon
within
an
assembly
of
people,
and
thereby
placing
the

occupants
or
people
in
reasonable
apprehension
of
serious

injury,
but
includes
the
shooting,
throwing,
launching,
or

discharging
of
a
weapon
at
another
person.

A
violation
of
the
bill
is
either
a
class
“C”
or
class
“D”

felony
depending
on
the
circumstances.
A
class
“C”
felony
is

punishable
by
confinement
for
no
more
than
10
years
and
a
fine
