moneys
appropriated

subsection

sensors

provide

regarding
the
impact
of
nutrient
loads
to
this
state’s

surface
waters.

This
bill
appropriates
moneys
from
the
general
fund

for
FY
2026-2027
to
Iowa
state
university
of
science
and

technology
for
deposit
in
the
Iowa
nutrient
research
fund
(Code

section
466B.46).
The
appropriated
moneys
are
to
support
22
the
Iowa
nutrient
research
center
(Code
section
466B.47)
in
23
administering
the
Iowa
water
quality
information
systems,
24
including
the
use
of
sensors
to
provide
data
regarding
the
25
impact
of
nutrient
loads
to
this
state’s
surface
waters.
