NEW SECTION . 1.19 Actions of certain 1 international organizations not binding. 2 A rule, regulation, fee, tax, policy, or mandate of the world 3 health organization, united nations, or world economic forum is 4 not binding on Iowa and shall not be enforced or implemented 5 by the state or an agency, department, board, commission, 6 political subdivision, or other entity of the state. 7 EXPLANATION 8 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 9 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 10 This bill provides that actions of the world health 11 organization, united nations, or world economic forum are not 12 binding on Iowa and prohibits state and local governmental 13 entities from enforcing or implementing such actions. 14 -1- LSB 6383YC (2) 90 sc/ns 1/ 1
