The amendments to 491 Iowa administrative code, 1 chapters 13 and 14, as appearing in ARC 7634C, as published in 2 the Iowa administrative bulletin, volume XLVI, number 17, dated 3 February 21, 2024, pp. 7268-7272, are nullified. 4 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This joint resolution, being deemed 5 of immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment. 6 EXPLANATION 7 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 8 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 9 This joint resolution nullifies administrative rules of 10 the state racing and gaming commission relating to sports 11 wagering and fantasy sports contests.
