the

section
8.33,
moneys
appropriated
in

section
that
remain
unencumbered
or
unobligated
at
the

of
the
fiscal
year
shall
not
revert
but
shall
remain

available
for
expenditure
until
the
close
of
the
succeeding

fiscal
year
for
support
costs
associated
with
the
creation

of
a
program
to
provide
additional
moneys
for
resident
high
17
school
pupils
enrolled
in
grades
nine
through
twelve
to
attend
18
a
community
college
for
college-level
classes
or
attend
a
19
class
taught
by
a
community
college-employed
instructor
during
20
the
summer
and
outside
of
the
regular
school
year
through
a
21
contractual
agreement
between
a
community
college
and
a
school
22
district
under
the
future
ready
Iowa
initiative.

The

members

the
general

This
bill
relates
to
the
department
of
education,
including

the
district-to-community
college
sharing
or
concurrent

enrollment
program
and
the
postsecondary
summer
classes
for
29
high
school
students
program.
The
bill
appropriates
$2
million
30
from
the
general
fund
of
the
state
to
the
department
in
FY
31
2023-2024
for
purposes
of
providing
payments
to
community
32
colleges
for
the
concurrent
enrollment
of
accredited
nonpublic
33
school
students
under
the
district-to-community
college
sharing
34
or
concurrent
enrollment
program.
The
bill
provides
that
if

these
moneys
remain

close
of

the
moneys
shall
