H.F. 540 Section 1. Section 331.361, subsection 7, Code 2023, is 1 amended by striking the subsection. 2 EXPLANATION 3 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 4 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 5 This bill relates to considerations required before a 6 county board of supervisors leases, purchases, or constructs 7 a facility or building. Under current law, a county board of 8 supervisors shall not lease, purchase, or construct a facility 9 or building before considering the leasing of a vacant facility 10 or building that is located in the county and owned by a public 11 school corporation.
