H.F. 451 Section 1. MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT —— NURSING FACILITY 1 LEVEL OF CARE —— INDIVIDUALS ON SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY. No 2 later than January 1, 2024, the department of health and human 3 services shall implement a reimbursement methodology under the 4 Medicaid program for services provided to individuals who meet 5 nursing facility level of care requirements and are required to 6 register as sex offenders pursuant to chapter 692A. 7 EXPLANATION 8 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 9 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 10 This bill requires the department of health and human 11 services to implement a Medicaid reimbursement methodology for 12 services provided to individuals who meet nursing facility 13 level of care requirements and are required to register as sex 14 offenders. 15 -1- LSB 1545HV (1) 90 pf/rh 1/ 1
