1.
A
health
care
provider
who
is
licensed
or
authorized
4
to
administer
covered
vaccines,
shall
verbally
provide
to
the
5
patient
prior
to
the
administration
of
a
covered
vaccine,
6
information
regarding
the
federal
vaccine
adverse
event
7
reporting
system
and
the
national
vaccine
injury
compensation
8
program,
including
information
regarding
the
limitation
of
the
9
covered
vaccine
manufacturer’s
liability
for
a
vaccine
injury
10
related
to
the
covered
vaccine.

2.
Any
advertisement
distributed
in
the
state
for
a
covered
12
vaccine
via
radio,
newspaper,
television,
internet,
or
other
13
medium,
shall
include
a
statement
regarding
the
limitation
of
14
the
liability
of
the
manufacturer
of
the
covered
vaccine
for
15
any
vaccine
injury
related
to
the
covered
vaccine
under
the
16
national
vaccine
injury
compensation
program.

For
the
purposes
of
this
section:
18
a.
“Covered
vaccine”
means
a
vaccine
recommended
by
the
19
centers
for
disease
control
and
prevention
of
the
United
20
States
department
of
health
and
human
services
for
routine
21
administration
to
children
or
pregnant
women
and
subject
to
an
22
excise
tax
under
federal
law.
23
b.
“Federal
vaccine
adverse
event
reporting
system”
means
the
24
national
vaccine
safety
surveillance
program
comonitored
by
the
25
United
States
food
and
drug
administration
and
the
centers
for
26
disease
control
and
prevention
of
the
United
States
department
27
of
health
and
human
services.
28
c.
“National
vaccine
injury
compensation
program”
means
29
the
national
vaccine
injury
compensation
program
established
30
pursuant
to
42
U.S.C.
§300aa-10
and
administered
by
the
31
division
of
compensation
programs,
health
care
systems
bureau,
32
health
resources
and
services
administration,
United
States
33
department
of
health
and
human
services.

bill
relates
to
the
information
that
must
be
provided

regarding
the
limitation
of
the
liability
of
a
manufacturer
of

a
covered
vaccine
under
federal
law
prior
to
the
administration

of
a
covered
vaccine
and
in
any
advertisement
of
the
covered
6
vaccine
in
the
state.
The
bill
requires
a
health
care
provider
7
who
is
licensed
or
authorized
to
administer
covered
vaccines,
8
to

the

a

regarding
the
federal

adverse
event
reporting
system
and
