H.F. 2486 Section 1. Section 272C.2, subsection 2, Code 2024, is 1 amended by adding the following new paragraph: 2 NEW PARAGRAPH . h. Allow a licensee to apply continuing 3 education credit obtained in excess of the requirements for a 4 renewal period to the continuing education requirements for 5 the following renewal period in an amount not to exceed fifty 6 percent of the continuing education credits required for a 7 renewal period. 8 EXPLANATION 9 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 10 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 11 This bill requires a licensing board to allow a licensee 12 to apply excess continuing education credit obtained in one 13 renewal period to the next renewal period in an amount not to 14 exceed 50 percent of the continuing education credit required 15 for a renewal period. 16 -1- LSB 5539HV (2) 90 ss/ko 1/ 1
