amended
to
read
as

This
bill
modifies
provisions
related
to
the
curriculum

provided
to
students
enrolled
in
grades

through

in
school

accredited
nonpublic
schools,
charter
schools,
and
1
innovation
zone
schools
by
allowing
instruction
related
to

agriculture
to
meet
a
portion
of
the
unit
requirements
related

to
science.
The
bill
provides
that
such
instruction
related
to
4
agriculture
may
be
taught
through
dedicated
units
of
coursework
5
or
through
units
of
coursework
that
also
meet
the
requirements
6
related
to
agriculture,
food,
and
natural
resources
instruction
7
under
the
career
and
technical
education
curriculum.
The
8
bill
requires
the
state
board
of
education
to
adopt
rules
to
9
implement
the
bill’s
provisions.
