H.F. 238 Section 1. Section 479B.2, subsection 2, Code 2023, is 1 amended to read as follows: 2 2. “Hazardous liquid” means crude oil, refined petroleum 3 products, liquefied petroleum gases, anhydrous ammonia, liquid 4 fertilizers, liquefied carbon dioxide, alcohols, and coal 5 slurries. 6 EXPLANATION 7 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 8 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 9 This bill relates to hazardous liquid pipelines transporting 10 liquefied carbon dioxide. 11 The bill strikes liquefied carbon dioxide from the 12 definition of “hazardous liquid” in Code section 479B.2. 13 -1- LSB 1924YH (1) 90 es/rn 1/ 1
